Bellwether Prize



Ce prix est décerné par le PEN America et Barbara Kingsolver à un citoyen américain pour une œuvre de fiction inédite abordant des questions de justice sociale. Il a été créé et est financé par l'auteur. Il est doté de 25 000 dollars et d'un contrat d'édition, dont ils perçoivent les droits d'auteur. En 2011, le PEN Center a annoncé qu'il prenait en charge l'administration du prix et qu'il serait désormais connu sous le nom de Pen/Bellwether.
